Last night was AWESOME!!!
I have to credit the original Stromboli recipe to one of my favorite THM food bloggers: My Montana Kitchen
Scroll down for the original post from her of the stromboli… Here’s what we did…
This is super easy stromboli dough. Melt the mozz and cream cheese, then dump into your kitchenaid mixer with the other ingredients and just blend the hound out of it. Dump onto parchment paper and roll out. If it sticks, then put another piece of paper on top.
The boys love ALL MEAT anything so we did bacon, sausage and pepperonis with plenty of mozzarella cheese and some Classico sauce. The Classico has no sugar in the ingredients so it’s on plan for Trim Healthy Mama!
Then load it up!! Seriously, can you smell the meat?
Next, you want to take a pizza cutter or knife and slice the edges so you can do this:
This where the parchment paper comes in handy… slide it onto the baking sheet.
I made two of these last night so the first one got a little too done at 425 degrees for 15 min. I’d recommend 400 and check it after 12 minutes. You know your oven though. And let’s face it, burnt cheese is yummo too!
Here’s the original recipe link. I don’t want to steal her post so please visit her site and enjoy the stromboli!!!
