Y’all this NaBloPoMo is no joke!!! My friend Mimi unknowingly pushed me into this! This post is appropriately titled Simply. I took inspiration from Mimi’s ‘Currently’ post and she was inspired by her friend at Everyday Eye Candy. I’m at my mom and daddy’s this week for my nephew’s birthday and Thanksgiving. It’s one of my favorite weeks of the year. We’ve traditionally had so much fun this week each year. There have been trips to the zoo, parks, movies, fishing, hunting, and lots of eating!
This is sweet daddy. He’s awesome. The infamous inventory of the Spot Remover. Truly one of the most down-to-earth men you’ll ever meet. Feeling super thankful today that I still have my parents. They’ve been married over 50 years.
My parents continue to amaze me at how they keep going. Momma’s knees are bothering her and yet she’s out there bringing pots of plants in so they don’t freeze tonight in the freeze warning they are predicting. Daddy is constantly getting yard work done, fishing, making things in his shop. Those two are nonstop and such an inspiration. They both still workout several times a week!
I’d like to say I’m reading stuff for fun but I’m forever reading stuff written by successful bloggers lately to make sure I’m learning all I can so they I can learn from them and make my road to a successful blog as short as possible. Also, I’m reading Only Love Today and Capital Gaines.
Christmas music with Momma, teaching her how to build and mold her Pandora Station. Loving Straight No Chaser and Rod Stewart Christmas Stations!
Memories. Memories that I will have the rest of my life. Walking through the garden. Honing my photography skills (actually, no, I need to get some skills first then I can hone them. LOL)
Super thankful to the good Lord from Whom All Blessings Flow. He granted a prayer of ours this week that Chuck got a great new job. More on that later. I’m feeling at home at home. This will always feel like home even though I have a home of my own now. This mirror in their living room with this awesome wreath on it shouts home to me.
These ceramic pumpkins we saw once in a Country Living magazine and immediately ordered the decals and daddy put them on there for momma. You see, my momma is known as the butterfly lady around these parts. She’s amazing.
I was so excited today when I checked my analytics today and saw that I had topped 3,000 page views in the last 30 days. Y’all that is peanuts compared to a lot of other writers/bloggers/influencers but that is HUGE for me!! It’s an all time high! Yes, I’ve only been at it seriously since August but yay!!!
Hope you all enjoyed our little walk around the garden. I’m going to be sharing from here all week!! Thank you for stopping by!
Keep it Simple,
