David turned 9 during the Christmas break. Wow. Hard to believe my baby is 9. We went to SkyZone Atlanta. If you have not gone there then you should go and go now.
Seriously, way cool.
So usually I try to take cupcakes into school sometime the week they get back so kids can wish him a happy birthday and share in his day even though it happened already. I decided to NOT pay someone to make cupcakes or a cake this time. I know, what was I thinking.
Well, here’s how mine turned out… clearly I’m not a baker. My friend, Tracey Canavan is a baker and she’s amazing. She can make anything look beautiful. Well, I’m not Tracey but I am David’s momma and this is what he gets and he thinks they are cool so I guess I’m ok with that.
They started out ok but I think I cooked them too long.
Oh Nutella, why must you make your jar so darn hard to clean out??? Ugh!!!
Going pretty good with the frosting… how can you go wrong with two sticks of butter y’all!
(Said in my best Paula Deen voice!)
I know, not quite as pretty as the Pin from above… but they are yum.
See the little Oreo in there? Cute little prize, huh? It’s like the cereal prize but in a cupcake!
Well, maybe y’all’s will look better but this is what they are getting tomorrow!
Keep it Simple,
