This is my fav post in a while because it has become one of my favorite rooms in the house! My pantry was in dire need of help…
Nothing had a real place to call home and cans were everywhere with no real sections like I have only dreamed of in a pantry. I started googling and pinteresting and started to form a plan. First came the unloading… oy…
and so begins the unloading…
this is the painful part for an orderly person because EVERYTHING was in the foyer for a week to get this done. although, I did put it in sections in the foyer so I could find stuff. Josh, our contractor, got a chuckle out of that one.
if you look closely down in that support, you’ll see the grossness that was in the pantry. ewwwww!
not really sure what this was but it wouldn’t come off. in my defense this was the original pantry from 1994.
So now the fun begins!!! Josh used 12″ deep boards, trim for the edging, and supports on the back walls and corners so that I would have much more actual space and there would be no support brackets in my way… I LOVE my pantry now!!!
1 inch support boards on the walls…
12 ” deep shelving with trim on the front
making sure the cans fit nicely!
close up of the gorgeous trim!
blue walls and white shelves! ahhhh!
I had so much fun loading this up but had so much room left over! This created so much extra space!
Now the labeling part… I get a little giddy when it comes to this part!
Well, I hope you all enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed getting it done and over with!!! I hope this post finds you all doing well and finding the thing that the Lord told you to do today! Remember, He has a plan for you for every day! The challenge is staying quiet enough to hear Him. (ok, that is my challenge, you might not have that problem!)
Keep it Simple,
