Ok, so maybe Gunny isn’t such a good prayer walking partner. He’s officially been banned from my prayer circling at home. He’s no help.
Can you just hear him now? “Mom, if you’re done circling the house, would you care to do donuts in the grass with me like I’ve been doing with you? C’mon, it’s so fun! Oh, and while ur at it, throw a ball!”
Sorry, Gunny, this has to get serious if I’m gonna do business out here.
The other day while prayer walking, I just didn’t know what to pray so I just cried the whole walk. It seemed good for me though because as I finished and walked back inside, I felt such a sense of relief. Relief from what, I don’t know. But something definitely got flushed out.
We’ve had a bit of sunshine today too so that’s good.
Your mission today is to just go somewhere and be quiet for 5 minutes. You don’t have to pray, or close your eyes, or anything specific. Just be. I’ll bet God will bring someone to your mind that you need to pray for. Go one step further and reach out to the person after you pray for them and tell them they were prayed over today. Chances are, they will be having one of those days when they needed to hear that.
Couldn’t hurt and it might help.
Keep it Simple,
