We’ve made it to day 10 of #NaBloPoMo!! Today was such a fun day. My boys are out of town (I’ll write about that later) so we needed to return my sister-in-law’s car to her. We decided to meet in Madison, Georgia for lunch. We found some good eats and sweet treats! Take a look!
This little place is called Madison Produce. Find them on facebook. This was my reuben. I have a weakness for this sandwich. It’s something I must have inherited from my daddy because he loves them too!
Madison has that small town feel that we all long for some days. As we walked around we saw hand painted signs cheering on their local football team in the state playoffs this weekend! It was right out of a movie!
Most of the shops are all too happy to accommodate the husbands in the shops! This one’s mine ladies!!
This place had pralines so I had to try one! I also got a white chocolate covered nutter butter! Shut up! It was amazing.
Hmmm, which one to choose!?
I’m certain there are some places within driving distance to your home where you’ve never gone before. When you have the chance, maybe even go to Tripadvisor.com and search within 30 miles of your home. Go on an adventure for the day. Take some pictures you normally wouldn’t take. Enjoy the view and enjoy the company. The Captain and I really enjoyed our quiet day and we even got to see my sister-in-law and her momma for lunch.
So thankful for the simple joys in life. It’s important to stop and recognize them. Look around, take it in, smile at someone til they smile back.
Keep it Simple,
